The To This Day app is free in the app store and is similar to an app book. Shane Koyczan performs his spoken word poem delivering an anti-bullying message as illustrations and animations from several different animators appear in the background. Tap the red button at the bottom of the screen to record your own voice reading the poem or share favorite passages via social media.
I first discovered Shane Koyczan via his TED talk. Note: I couldn't find a clean version of his talk. There is profanity at 4:49. He is a beautifully talented poet who uses his humor to deliver a moving and powerful anti-bullying message. It is a great message for educators and parents to hear.
